When establishing a corporation in Japan, you must pay careful attention to completing procedures in accordance with Japanese corporate law. Procedures for establishing your company will usually require around three weeks. Use the following information as a guide.

 Corporate Profile |
1. Corporation Name: You can use the Roman alphabet, numbers, as
well as hiragana, katakana, and kanji from the Japanese alphabet.
2. Head Office Address: You can use your home address, but this is not
generally allowable when it goes against the policies of your building.
3. Corporate Directors: You must designate one or more corporate
directors. The Representative Director must have an address in
Japan. (The Representative Director must be able to produce a
proof of registration for their inkan (seal) from their local city office)
4. Stakeholder: There must be one or more stakeholders. A company
may act as a Stakeholder if certain conditions are fulfilled.
5. Paid-in Capital: 1 yen or more.
6. The Business Activities of the Corporation: You must provide
concrete details. You may also include activities planned for the
future.
